On 20^th December, pharmaceutical information traceability system construction was exhibited in Leshan; which was a big step to push pharmaceutical information system construction as combination of production and research through variable fields. This construction invited members of China Engineering Academy, director of the Information Center of the State Drug Administration, former review leader of the U.S. FDA, and other experts from relevant fields. The construction focused on advancing drug informatization serialization system building, and improving drug quality ensuring.

The member of China Engineering Academy reputed information reality, safety, and protection is the fundamental of drug traceability system building relating to big data and application. Former review leader of the U.S. FDA, Sun introduced U.S. national drug traceability system, relevant laws and current situation; he pointed out drug safety is the priority target to build drug traceability system, and pushed on drug innovation, generic drug development, other types of drug safety assessment after sell on market.

Combined 10 years development on electronic supervisory, experience on the EU and US serialization, and experience on local traceability, Xin point out ‘on the one side, we expect traceability big data can provide support for supervision department to achieve smart supervision; on the other side, we expect pharmaceutical big data can expand its value to assist pharmaceutical supply chain to discover potential opportunity and elemate possible threat under the development of new technology and financial support, in order to support enterprise operation decision making adjustment and optimization.’

On the topic of how to build traceability system with the support from the third part, director of the Information Center of the State Drug Administration Guo Huang indicate: traceability is not only need to be organized by nation, but also require the third part to share this livelihood responsibility. Huangfu affirmed China’s traceability of technology’s leading position in the international arena; especially on the traceability system products, China’s traceability system building has more advantages on value for money with international standards, while the concept of retrospection still needs to be strengthened. Currently, Jawa has a mature traceability system L1-L3 construction plan, as well as supporting products and rich construction operation and maintenance experience. Jawa hopes to contribute more power in the construction of China's traceability system with the state functional departments; and corporate with pharmaceutical companies, equivalent to the creation of China in the field of strength, information and finance.

At this meeting, experts and scholars reached a consensus with industry professionals. China is leading the world in mobile payment and big data application technology. We should work together to find a way to build a traceability system with Chinese characteristics.
